He and his wife, Tammy owned and operated Heartland Skateway and Daycare. This 32 yr. successful business served the community and many families well.
Gary’s two sons Rabon and Blanton, were very involved in the family business while attending and graduating from Early High School. They both went on to attend Texas A&M and graduated in 2014 and 2016 respectfully. After selling the business in 2012, the Bowen’s decided to continue the daycare, which is known now has Heartland Child Care of Early. For several years Gary was involved in overseeing the construction of new homes.
Gary has given back to the community by serving on the Early ISD School Board for twelve years and serving on the Brownwood Board of REALTORS for six years. Gary brings a lot to the table with knowledge of building, his passion for family and community and is highly respected by all who know him.
